Gorgeous
I've been visiting new places & meeting people but the best part of the week was seeing an entire ceiling (and some walls) covered with paintings of Greek Mythology characters.
Apart from that, went for my first ocf meeting. Wasn't quite what I expected (what did I expect anyway?) but the people are nice. As usual. Sounding a tad cynical here, but isn't everybody Nice the first time you meet them?
But no, I'm not about to start becoming one of pessimistic people who don't see the 'good' side of things. In fact, ocf was about discussing John Ch. 2, Jesus' first miracle & I thought it was a nice way of reminding myself that I have a lot to be thankful for and I shouldn't forget God's hand in these.
Okay, I'm still going to church out of obligation but I'll get there, someday.
I'm a bit sick of always having some novel or two that I've to read for the week. It never stops! I'm behind in readings already but it's a constant forge forward to finish next week's book. I need to find a nice place to sit down with some coffee and good music and just finsh the damn thing. This week I'm on to Portrait.. by Joyce & it's the classic voice-in-my-head sort of narrative. Yea for an English student that's a brilliant description.
Still hoping for plenty of sunshine in the last days of Autumn!
